rich - Bug still exists -- "Last by" are all my name in "My Conversations"
Something I've been hesitating to address as a bug since I thought it would have been noticed/fixed by now, but when I go to Conversations -> My Conversations, all of the names in the "Last By" are my name! This can't be right, as this should specify who posted last, not that I posted there. Of course I posted there. I would really like this to actually say the last user to post, as I use this to determine IF there are any new posts since I posted (if it does say "Rich" I don't bother reading, now they all say "Rich"). Appreciate if this is looked into.
Regards,
"Last by"

Unfortunately the problem still exists, now I just go into the All Conversation index and don't even bother looking in the My Conversation index since, short of manually checking every one, there's no way to determine it someone has posted after me or not.

I had hoped it would be fixed by now, but it's at the top of the priority list for right after New Year's Day. Happy New Year, everyone!

You should tell your tech people they can't go to the ChinesePod New Year party until they sort this out. :)

There seems to be a different bug in the conversation sections. Sometimes the comments are not presented in the order they have been entered, which can make it hard to follow. I have seen this several times. For example: In http://chinesepod.com/lessons/the-scene-of-the-accident/discussion Amber seems to answer a question, long before Henning asks it. This should be an error int he PHP code, timestamps not being correctly written or not correctly read. Also, it would be nice (but not necessary) to be able to "preview" a comment befoire submitting it...:)

A long overdue THANKS!! for fixing this bug I brought up. Haven't even been checking here since Christmas. Still don't get why whenever I change something on my profile that it complains about my username, saying it has to be from 4-32 characters, which it is, at the 4. Rich

well, never mind about that last bug report... aparently in the big change last month (or was that November? grad school makes me lose time) it stopped liking user names with UPPERcase names, so "Rich" was no longer good. Once I changed it to something else (which then gave me a weird profile saying my membership expires in 1970) and then back to "rich", it works. Still, funny that it took me over a month to figure this out, and that usernames weren't just all lowercased automatically by default.

John, I noticed this bug still exists in the Mobile version of Chinesepod, as well as several others. In the mobile version, on many of the conversations, I click to enter the conversation and it takes me back to the Main Coversations screen. Also the majority of the dialogues and transcripts are either scrambled or fragments of conversations, or out of order. Hope you guys can look into it.
