These conversation post have all been tagged with " ChinesePod"If you take a look at the subscription information, you may notice a few things have changed. There's a new product, and some prices have fallen as well.
Guided
ChinesePod Guided offers you everything that comes with a Premium subscription, plus a live voice evaluation of your language abilities with a trained Chinese teacher in Shanghai. That teacher will assess your Chinese level, then recommend some lessons from our massive archive, based on your level, your goals, and your interests. That teacher will continue to give you feedback and guidance throughout the month, and will also test you on what you learned at the end of the month. You don't ge tthe daily speaking practice that you get with the Executive subscription (formerly known as the Practice Plan), but you do get valuable guidance in your studies at a much more affordable price.
Price Changes
We have updated our pricing to be a bit more consistent, and, in several cases, more affordable as well. Please note that 6 month Premium subscriptions are now $11 cheaper, and the Executive subscription prices fell even more drastically.
Of course, you can find info about all this stuff on the Subscription Information page.
I put together a lesson set of some of my favorite Intermediate lessons. These are the ones I had the most fun doing with Jenny, I guess. Anyway, if you're interested, here's the direct link:
You can't comment on lesson sets, so if you have any comments, you can leave them here.
Hola amigos!
Good news! You can now find Dear Amber as it's own iTunes channel! If you currently listen to Dear Amber through your ChinesePod feed or here on the site, nothing will change for you, you can continue to listen as before. However, now people will be able to find Dear Amber separately through iTunes! Yay!
Please help us get Dear Amber launched properly: go to the iTunes site and click "subscribe." That will help Dear Amber rise on the iTunes podcast charts, so that more people can see and enjoy that show!
Also, if you're a fan of the show, please write a customer review!
While you're subscribing to Dear Amber, you might as well subscribe to SpanishPod, FrenchPod, ItalianPod, ChinesePod, and ChinesePod (for some reason there are two), and help us rise in the charts! And write us some good reviews! :)
We've very recently launched a new blog, LearningOnYourTerms.com, and we'd love to have the ChinesePod community come and take a look. The blog is focused on language learning -- the methods, the tools, the theories, and more -- and solving problems that language learners have.
Though we'll talk a lot about language learning in general, since I'm writing it, there's going to be a lot about Chinese in particular (that is until my Spanish becomes better than it is!).
Stop on by and say hello!
