Remember travelyan "Hammer Peter" Dave?
Just accidentely opened his adsotrans blog and saw that he started a new project. A Chinese language service that seems to be designed complementary to CPod in its current form of existence - with lots of focus on written and HSK material (as to be expected).
Very interesting. I have taken the free trial access from Adsotrans and already tried the HSK exercises. Now those are real exercises.

The winner of our latest Facebook competition has been announced! Congratulations to Matt Hainley for his awesome comic strip response to the following question:
"The Menu Stealer resorted to petty crime in a bid to learn Chinese food vocabulary. How far would you go to learn Chinese free for a year?" (The most creative entry will win a 1-year Premium subscription.)
Matt's response: "I would spend countless hours working on a winning comic strip, keeping my wife up late with the soft glow of the monitor and drawing her withering ire."
You can see his excellent comic strip here and all the other brilliant entries here (note: you'll have to be logged into facebook to see them).
Nice one, Matt!
