Dear ChinesePod Users:

The final step of the dashboard/groups switchover is to optimize the database queries. Displaying the latest lesson comments is an intensive operation, so we have delayed the display of the newest lesson comments on the Community page and the dashboard page.  For the time being, you will see new user posts, but not new lessons comments on these two pages (even though they are there, and you can post new ones).

Thank you for your patience as we restore full functionality; we are doing this as a precaution to minimize downtime and reduce risk of our server crashing.

Thanks!

Hi Grace. If I select the double arrow (>>) from the lesson list, I get a view of the topic with no comments. Is that because the view I see is within the "Chris" group, and visible only to you and me?

I just added a comment to a Conversation.  A conversation with myself in more ways than one - first it was a post I made a couple of weeks ago and it used to appear under Conversations: bodawei. Second, this post made a couple of minutes ago appears nowhere except on the original Conversation - it does not appear on the Dashboard under Latest, and it does not appear under the Conversations tab. So I cannot even see it myself unless I scan through my old posts and remember what I called the post.  I called it China the Beautiful, totally without irony.  ;-)

Can anybody explain this - how do I get such a post to appear on the boards.  A new post will appear but a comment on a post will not.  right?

Hi Just a quick question, is there an easy way to mark a lesson as studdied when finished(ie after listening, writing and doing the exersises), without navigating back through to the lesson and then marking as studdied? Also is there anyway to make the bookmarked lessons showup first on the dashboard page?

Cheers,

Rob
