Really liking the iPhone version of the site, just a couple of points I wondered about though. There doesn't seem to be any webclip icon for the iPhone home screen, I think this is just a quick fix (http://tinyurl.com/2vgvns), and would make the ChinesePod icon on the homer screen look a bit nicer-er.
Also I have noticed in the vocabularly section of a lesson it lists Hanzi and Pinyin, but no English, is this something that is being added?
Yesterday I crashed the iPhone while trying to load sina.com.cn...now I am careful with such sites. Anybody had similar experiences and recommendations how to avoid such situations?

官方英文的《中国日报》引述富士康科技集团发言人的话说，手机女孩已经被证实是富士康科技集团的员工，但针对网友担心女孩已经被开除的问题，富士康称应该不会，因为整个事件是一个"美丽的过失"。
富士康说，由于女孩本人要求不要公开她的姓名，所以公司不方便透露女孩的具体工作地点和联系方式。
但该发言人对《中国日报》称，笑容可掬的“iPhone女孩”是来自湖南的打工妹。
富士康还表示，女孩子的照片出现在iPhone屏幕上是生产过程中的一个小失误，但结果却不坏。
这位发言人说，她可爱的笑脸受到网友热捧，"我们认为这是一个美丽的失误"。
发言人解释了女孩照片现身iPhone手机屏幕并被传播的原因。
他表示，女孩是手机检测车间的员工，可能在进行拍照手机检测后忘记了删除检测图片才导致事情发生，公司现在也在详细调查。

Does anyone have experience uploading ChinesePod Lessons to a Blackberry Bold? I seem to be able to listen but not see the PDF unless I navigate to the file manually. Is it a different experience with the Iphone/Ipos touch? Does anyone have experience of the how well the experienc works on an Ipod classic? I am thinking of purchasing an Itouch as the blackberry is driving me crazy

Hi, I've just started to use Chinesepod on Studyarcade (Iphone app). But I can't get it to run the flashcards with Pinyin instead of hanzi. Anyone knows how to change the setting?

I was surprised to see a ChinesePod iPhone app today. I think this is a great step forward for ChinesePod and us users. I hate to sound picky but it seems that there are only a few flashcards for newbies. Perhaps this is going to be updated to include different levels?
With cut and paste it's now possible to copy characters from an SMS to an iPhone dictionary (or the Cpod app!). But if you're at home, there's a much easier way using PhoneView. See: http://bit.ly/1HcrzL

I don’t know if anyone else figured this out already but you can write in Chinese on the iPhone! I just figured it out. You can write in Pinyin or draw the characters out on the screen and it recognizes them! Super cool!! Now I can practice my writing when I am not at my computer!

Thinking about buying a Motorola Droid, primarily so I can use Cpod and Skype (I know Skype compatibility is to be asked of Skype). I was wondering if Cpod works on Android based devices. I thought there was a posting on this somewhere on the site, but I can't find it. If Cpod does work, what functions can you do, what can't you do. Thanks for any clarification.

I have an old handheld that runs WM2003 and Pleco 2.0. Just love that thing :-) Now, I have a chinese friend who wants to buy Pleco too and I'm helping her to find a used handheld on ebay. A drawback with Pleco is that it doesn't have audio files for the english part of the dictionary. I don't consider that a problem but she might do, since she wants to use it to learn english.
If anyone knows about a dictionary that is better suited for chinese speakers I'd be glad to know about it :-) I know there is one that's called Powerword 2 (by Kingsoft). It should be available for iPhone at iTunes but I haven't tried it since I don't have any i东西 at all...

I'm thinking about getting an iPhone and if so I'd probably get the Chinesepod app, my question however is if the content is stored on the phone or if it is just an interface and all of the lessons and so on are streamed from the web? The reason I'm asking is because that would decide which data plan I'd choose.
