I like the expansion section, but unless it can be put into a mobile method of study, it loses a lot of it's value since you can only sit at your computer for so long." - perle2 Problem: Currently the only way to access Premium content is by being logged into the ChinesePod website. For many of us without a constant, mobile Internet connection, this is a huge barrier to "On our terms" and "Mobile" learning. Solution: WLCP automatically downloads the premium content for off line study. The specific content downloaded by WLCP is the following: (1) An XML file which is transformed into a user-customizable HTML files containing any combination of English, Pinyin, Bopomofo, Simplified and Traditional Characters. (2) MP3 files containing the expansion and dialogue sentences, and both key and supplementary vocabulary. This software does NOT provide access to or distribute premium content to people who do not already have access to it. This software merely automates, for an INDIVIDUAL PREMIUM SUBSCRIBER, the process of downloading and displaying material provided by ChinesePod.

I was a regular user of your program before and I really miss it. To be able to have everything downloaded to my computer and use it any place or time was so convienient. There are times when even at home i loose internet connection. With this program it does ...

- Anyone Using a Real Fix?

It's a long shot, but if anyone has a clean version of this software, workable, with a real fix, I'd sure appreciate it. Just want you to know that there's someone out there who wants it.

Yes, I invented the aichinese software only a short while after they'd already developed it and published it... :P I was thinking about a downloadable application, to enhance the ChinesePod site, but it's got enough extras on it, I might pay for their service...

Thanks for your reply. I used to be so in love with CP but have been considering dropping it for a while, then trying it again for maybe a month to see how convenient or more inconvenient it may have become.

The URL for the log-in page has moved. Change "https" to "http" (so that the URL becomes http://chinesepod.com/accounts/signin) in wlcpod_netops.py and you will be able to download lessons again.
