Ken kept translating "我造就告诉过你了" as the question "Didn't I already tell you?".  Isn't this sentence a statement rather than a question?  And what is the   difference between this and "我造就告诉过你"?  Doesn't the 过 already specify that the verb has already occurred?

Has there been a concious effort to make the lessons shorter recently? I've noticed a stedy decline from 12-13 minutes down to 8 or 9.  I don't get much out of Ken's talks about "pedagogy" or pitches for the website, but I always enjoyed the casual and often enlightening banter between John and Jenny.  Is this just a new policy to ensure a streamlined and convenient product?

So 哥们儿 can be used when talking to just one person or when talking to more than one person, right?  Is there a distinction?  I used to think it was only for the plural case like "buddies" or "dudes".
