November 07, 2019, 11:25 AMWhen do you need the end of sentence 了 (with the 一....就 construction, I mean)? I can't quite make it out from the sentences under the dialogue tab.

I think that you're great, but I do have a suggestion and that is that Joshua says his statement in Chinese first and only then does Jessica (or Joshua) give the English translation. That way we would get more opportunity to try to make sense of the Chinese ourselves, rather than knowing what will be said ahead of time. You're already doing more of it in this video than in the previous 'dou' video, but maybe you could delay the translation showing up on the screen as well?
