September 20, 2014, 11:43 PMOkay, so both mean to "meet" but 见到 is in person for the first time. So I would never say, "很高兴认识你" ?

September 15, 2014, 07:57 PMWhy is this "见到" used in "我很高兴见到你" instead of "认识"?
Is there no difference? Is one more formal? Does "见到" indicate that these people have met before?

September 08, 2014, 02:41 PMIt's confusing to me that the translation for ""你是吴小姐吧" in English has a question mark. Why doesn't the Chinese also have question mark? I know "吧" is a suggestive complement but can't it also express other things such as excitement or just friendliness in general?
