In response to Pete's question re drinking habits changing... I have never liked coffee or tea.  However since being in China for 3 months (from Oz) I now like tea.  But only the Chinese kind of tea - still can't stomach western tea.

However, hot chocolate with milk... always.  Starbucks' hot chocolates though - so strong!  I take it home and top up with milk to make two cups.  And I thought I could take chocolate stronger than anyone I knew (that and coke provide me with caffeine).

Sorry about spelling error - that should read 'been' not 'bene' - can't work out how to edit my comments.

Hi folks

My first post here!  I've bene a poddie for several months and just arrived in Hangzhou for a 4 month placement.  I've been very grateful for the company of ChinesePod as I don't know anyone here and CCTV 9's repeats are getting a bit tiresome.

Given the topic of this DA I thought some of you might be interested in this new video clip filmed in Shanghai by a new Aussie group made up of well known Aussie musos.  The song is causing a buzz - albumn being released in early October. Many scenes will be familiar for those that know Shanghai.

"Australia is burning with the impact of a new music video released by Empire of the Sun, a collaboration between Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore. Their first single, “Walking on a Dream”, was filmed appropriately in Shanghai, the setting for the novel and movie, Empire of the Sun."
