February 19, 2008 at 11:43 AMIt has been almost a year since beaver asked: " in which situation does one use多少 and when to use 几?" I thought that 多少 is more like "how much?" and that 几 is used for "how many?" is that correct ?

February 19, 2008 at 10:15 AMTo the great chinese pod team, I Don't want to sound too vulgar..., But I am just thinking out loud: In the expansion, what did you mean by saying: 我有鸡蛋。 (I have eggs.) In some languages it means "I have b@alls".... Does it have the same meaning in chinese, or does it simply means "I have eggs (on my plate)" ?

February 18, 2008 at 8:40 AMThe one who wrote the expansion exercise really wants to go to the US, or is it an innocent mistake (6th sentence) ? 明年他要去美国。 (Next year I will go to the US.) I think you ment: (Next year He will go to the US.)

February 21, 2008 at 9:54 PMOh, sorry... I forgot another question, During the lesson and its exercises only "mailing to a PLACE" is mentioned. Do we use the same "ji dao" also when refering to PERSONS, or should we use "gei" instead ? meaning, what is the correct way to say "I'll send you ..." ? "wo... ji dao ni" "wo gei ni ji ..." or maybe other construction ?
