I think you meant to say "À vos souhaites!" (not vous). Or, "À tes souhaites!" to your friends.

I remember studying these words (sneeze, yawn, snore, etc.) in Chinese a while back and I could have sworn that one of them has two ways to say the same thing. I can't remember which one it was. I remember trying to figure out which one was the more common way so that I could just learn that one for the time being (limited memory capacity LOL). Does anyone know which word it is?

Instead of 看起来很特别 can one say 样子很特别? And would it have pretty much the same meaning?

Yes, that Nanjing dong lu stretch has lots and lots of those vendors and if you look like, or walk with, a laowai, be prepared to be bombarded.

Don't get frustrated though; no one needs to lose face here. Just think of it as a tiny opportunity to practise your Chinese. You might even want to engage one of them to practise your Chinese.

I don't agree with Bigkev that Chinese characters should be dropped in favour of pinyin, but I won't go into much detail since it's quite off-topic here. Suffice to say, try using only pinyin with no Chinese characters at all in your studies and you'll soon see why it's not sufficient, or at least not as efficient as you might think.

Hello everyone! Can someone clarify the use of 多 in the phrase "他正想多交些朋友呢。"? It's the last sentence of the dialogue. Is it optional? If so, how is the sentence changed without it? Thanks.
