I am still haunted by exam memories till this day. The worst part is that you have to bring home the test paper for your parents to sign and see.

It's more natural to say 我睡不着的时候，常常听音乐，就能睡着。/wo3 shui4buzhao2 de shi2hou4, chang2chang2 ting1 yin1yue2, jiu4 neng2 shui4zhao2.

睡觉 (shuìjiào) and 睡 (shuì) both mean to 'sleep', but the usage is different. For example, to fall asleep is 睡着/shui4zhao2, but you can't say 睡觉着/shui4jiao4zhao2。

I think most Chinese know Lanzhou to the extent of the famous noodles.
