Personally, I loved the conversation. It's one of my favorites up to this point with lots of useful phrases.

September 17, 2019, 02:10 AMI disagree with this suggestion. The more you travel around Chinese-speaking countries, the more you realize that "standard" pronunciation is a myth in the real world. Various locales in China have distinct pronunciations. Even Singaporean and Malaysian pronunciation differs despite a similar history and close proximity. LA Mandarin is not the same as Taiwanese Mandarin and so on and so forth. The variety of pronunciation between first language and second language individuals is helpful.
