Question: About 让人 and 叫人, Fiona says that 叫人 has stronger connotation. What about 令人, are there any nuances involved, or basically equivalent to the other two?
In the topic of nuances, is there any difference between 就算 and 即使? I do feel that 就算 is more colloquial/non-formal, but wondering if that is so and if there is any other difference.

I kind of didn't know that we can post questions, so too late for me :), but if I can still ask something, I wanted to ask kind of like, how many people are actively using ChinesePod? I know you probably don't want to give specific numbers on your subscribers, but maybe ballpark number? Hundreds? Thousands? More than five thousands?
Also, is the distribution of CP users pretty equal between beginner, inter, and advanced, or do you see one segment has more users?
Anyway, I understand if you don't want to answer such questions. Too bad I'm in Jakarta, or else I'd visit you guys.

March 14, 2017, 08:14 AMIs it just me, or does it sound like everybody in this lesson pronounce 辞职（cí zhí) as sí zhí ? That includes Fiona and Constance. I've been trying to listen carefully, but somehow I cannot reconcile the sound to how I would say it, somehow the "c" sort of sound like an "s." So there must be something wrong with my hearing or whatnot...??

我自己认为在家里，一个人出去工作，一个人处理家庭，还是最理想的安排。更何况如果孩子们出生了。父母都不在，对我来说是得避的情况。
果然，关键是相爱相尊重的夫妇。老公要知道老婆的功劳。钱也是两人的，不是谁给谁。老婆也愿意，喜欢处理家庭。是很传统的安排，但我觉得还是一般来说最好的安排。
