May 13, 2013 at 2:15 PMhi, I am not singaporean but lived there for a few years. Definitely Singaporeans do not consider themselves as Greater china,! my Singaporean friends would strongly object.

November 10, 2011 at 4:57 PMtalking about superstitions, you will find there are quite a lot of similar superstitions (maybe not on yuezi) in East and West . And whatt about religions?. They have also there superstitions that are nowhere scientifically explained. Christianity is no exception.

April 4, 2011 at 2:53 PMHi, Jenny, nice to have you back. Could you tell me , what nowadays is done or not done during yue zi? you can wash your hair? Years ago we lived in SEA and there they adhered to lots of old customs like not washing your hair, eating plenty of ginger herb soups etc. Are there still similar customs?

December 6, 2009 at 3:29 PMapart from the content of this Qin Wen, I do feel that Liliana and John sometimes seem to make Connie the odd man out .- Chinese pod teaches us language and culture, so sensibilities belong to culture, wouldn't you agree?

March 23, 2009 at 4:09 PMprenatal edu seems weird to me(I have heard of classical music and singing to the unborn baby.). My first Chinese teacher, an old lady from BJ told me that you have to rest your brain. Later in Singapore I had a lady teacher from Xian telling me the same . I guess there should be some classical teaching in this respect. So how about it mothers and fathers to be? Let the baby grow and enjoy life .
Apart from formula there is breastfeeding to give the kid a headstart!
