If the children are adults, does one use the same terms?

Born and raised in Texas in the 50's and 60's, my upbringing was about as narrow as one can get. Nonetheless, living with my father required a developing mental toughness and, eventually, good healthy skepticism. He was a compulsive teaser as I am today (both my brothers as well). It is a learned behavior that did indeed lead to some difficult social situations, especially in my teenage years, since this sort of humor is not typical in the US. Perhaps this explains my affinity for pretty much all things Chinese.

Sé hablar un poco español pero es la lengua de Mexíco. Ademas es mi idoma segundo por eso no hablo muy bien y escribo lentemente. Estudié chino hace muchos años y estudio en Chinese Pod ahora para recordarlo. Mi hijo está viviendo en Taiwan y se casa a una china. Estoy viviendo in Mexíco. Buena suerte con sus estudios.
