December 20, 2009 at 4:45 PMAt the end of each podcast, it would be really helpful to have a vocabulary quiz for new and difficult words.
For example, at the end of an audio, Jenny says the English word for the new vocabulary, waits 2 seconds for the student to think of the Chinese word, and then she says the Chinese.
Sample script: "Ok, now we're going to do a quick vocab quiz with 10 words. Write 1-10 on a piece of paper and see how many you get correct. After you hear the English word, say the Chinese equivalent. 'cotton sweater'...1...2...'mian mao shan'"
This would be really helpful for the students who don't live in China and can't readily verbalize the language.
Thank you!

If anyone is looking for a language partner, and you live in or near XuJiaHui, please shoot me an email at jjselleck@gmail.com. I need to find someone to practice these ChinesePod lessons with. Some of my Chinese students at EnglishFirst, who are all adults, are also looking to find people to do a language exchange with.
