I know what you mean RoninDC. When I visit my in-laws in Hong Kong my father in law often takes me for a 'western' breakfast. It's a slice of ham, a slightly cooked egg, sweet bread and a cup of what is termed 'coffee' but resembles... I just don't know what it is! One day I'll take him to the A1 Cafe in London. ;-)
