December 13, 2007 at 7:23 AMGreat way to learn for me, i spent 8 mths working in Beijing this year and tried to learn using other methods - to no avail - this seems to be getting me somewhere. Just one thing though, can anyone at chinese pod tell me when the vocab will be working again - it has been in disarray since the upgrade 3 to 4 weeks ago - i prevously used this to great advantage, particularly finding a word in the dictionary and then adding it to my vocab so i could use it in flashcards - but this facility has only been available intermitantly and very slow when it is. rgds,Steve

December 9, 2007 at 1:30 AMI am having problems saving the vocabs from lessons so that I can use the flash card facility, also cannot change tags from within vocab groups. In fact have found many of sites facilities in disarray for last 2 to 3 weeks since the upgrade, perhaps it’s the way I use these facilities, would like to know has any one else had problems? January 29, 2008 at 10:56 PMThis is an excellent learning facility. Unfortunately it is let down by its IT dept. It apears that new functionality is introduced and subscribers are expected to find and report problems with the new code. Currently the new Vocabulary functionalirty has been introduced and still has 'bugs' I spent 4 hours yesterday finding faults and reporting them to chinesepod, I received no response and thus i post here. Prior to this, a few months back, a new code base was introduced and it was 3 weeks of trial and error to find out what worked and reporting bugs to chinesepod. I am a subscriber because i want to learn chinese not debug chinesepod functionality. I dont understand why the new features are not tested 'off line' before being inflicted on subscribers, this is an un professional approach on an otherwise outstanding site. Also last week i reported that the dictionary was not functioning correctly, chinesepod were unaware of this even though it lasted a couple of days - are there no QA procedures?
