Great episode, learning about the food and geography together is a very good combination, it binds together two aspects of culture that might be a bit abstract to grasp for an out-of-touch foreigner (like me) but they complete each other perfectly.

I've also seen 幸福 translated as "fortunate" in dramas, though it was obvious they meant to say "happy". It was kind of funny.

Anyway I really liked this lesson. For some reason I had the meaning of 开心 and 高兴 inverted. Now I know!

I absolutely loved the format of this lesson! Showing the written words only at the end was a big help for me, since it really helps develop the listening comprehension first. And the way the images were added was really effective as well.

I also really appreciated the fact that there was the image of Jenny as she was speaking; the input is quite different from the lessons that are strictly audio. Seeing the speaker's expressions and mouth as they speak is a big help (and of course, the gestures are as well!). I think it bridges the gap more easily between lessons and real-life usage and comprehension.

I hope you have more of these coming! 谢谢!

I loved this video, the word 胡萝卜 is finally sticking now. :D As it's been pointed out before, the 洋葱  were kind of hard to identify because of the filming but overall i thought the video was clear and I really liked it.

A side note to auntie68: I really enjoyed the videos you posted as I'm an intermediate student of Korean and have been out of study material lately (except for cramming vocabulary on my own and watching tv shows).

Anyway, they're all good ideas of format from which Cpod might be able to benefit. The drinking culture one had a really cool format (plus I never really knew how to serve 삼겹살 -samgyeopsal!) Thanks for linking them!

I really appreciated this lesson, especially learning the fact that 美丽 has a more litterary use...The only place I've ever heard this word before is in songs, but I hadn't fully realized it yet.

I can't wait to see more of these videos, I think there's a lot of potential here. This format will make the learning more permanent (to me at least), as opposed to flash cards. Keep up the good work!
