April 19, 2007 at 8:11 PMI had a Chinese name when I lived in Taiwan 29 years ago but it was a transliteration and I hate it. I don't want a Chinese version of my English name. Whats the best way to get an authentic, bonafied, cool Chinese name? Do you know of a website or other resources about Chinese names. I'm desperate for a name. It keeps me up at night. Help! Tracy

April 19, 2007 at 5:35 AMDo Chinese names always have 3 characters or can someone have just 2 characters like Yao Ming? I went to see the Jazz play the Rockets tonight and got to watch Yao Ming sit on the bench. What a bummer. Tracy

April 19, 2007 at 5:25 AMpaulo, Here's a simple fix to save the mp3 files. Right click on the link and change the extension from "htm" to "mp3". It will save as an mp3 file.

April 18, 2007 at 4:01 AMuser36152, I am having the same problem when trying to download the mp3 files. Here's an easy fix. Right click on the link and change the file extension from "htm" to mp3 and save it. For some reason the program thinks that it's an html file and automatically gives it that extension. April 21, 2007 at 5:43 AMI seem to remember the term san1 ba1, as in 3 8, also being some sort of insult. Anyone know anything about this. I guess numbers can be very dangerous in Chinese.
