March 6, 2008 at 2:38 AMI just tried to download QQ, but my computer doesn't want to show me chinese characters, instead it replaces them by questionmarks and lots of ugly stuff, never mind, I hope you guys have more luck. I just received a chinese e-mail and at the end, there was written: 常联系. I didn't know what 联系 meant before this lesson, so I say thank, that saved from looking it up in the dictionary! But how would you actually say things like ''Yours Sincerely'' in chinese? I like the lesson, especially imgining Jenny's grama sitting in front of a laptop chatting on the Internet, I think my mom wouldn't even know how to use msn.

March 4, 2008 at 10:29 PMHi, I have alredy asked this question but for some reason it didn't appear on the website: Trying to find a sentence with the 一...就 I asked myself the question how the chinese express taking pity on someone. When I looked it uo in the dictionary, I found: 哀怜 and 闵 can both be used and how can they be used (what preposition do I have to use or do I have to use one at all?)? Thank you

March 2, 2008 at 5:42 AMHi, when I saw that sentence in the dialogue "London's the best city I've ever been to", I thought about another sentence with a similar stucture, but how is it correct: I want to say: In London, Big Ben is the site I like best? wo3 zui4 xi3huan de lun2dun1 de jing3dian3 shi4 da4ben3zhong1. or lun2dun1 de wo3 zui4 xi3huan de jing3dian3 shi4 da4ben3zhong1. or are both just wrong and if that's the case, how else could I express that? Thank you

March 8, 2008 at 2:50 AMHi, great lesson, but I've got a question : why do they use 还是 and not 或者 to express ''just say true OR false''? Isn't it just a statement?
