Very interesting episode. I was wondering in how far the families of Chinese women in the bigger cities still perceive the marriage of their daughter as a step out of their and into the family of the new husband. Especially when he is a foreigner.

Jiaojie or John: Can you maybe enlighten me a little bit about nowadays situation.

Hi you guys!

I just want to thank you for bringing these grammar lessons. I'm studying Chinese at university but still some rules are not explained very well in our textbooks. Thanks to your excellent skills in explaining this stuff I feel much more secure now.
