Haitao, your delivery is here.

哦。来了。

Oh, I'm coming.

You bought a book? Let me see, what book is it? “In 30 Years, How Will You Look After Yourself?”. It's about financial management, huh?

You're good! One look at the title, and you know what it's about.

I've been paying a lot of attention to financial stuff as well these days. Recently, I don't watch anything but the finance and economics channel.

As the saying goes, if you don't pay attention to money, money won't pay attention to you. We get such measly salaries, and there's a limit as to how far you can develop your career. If you don't think of something, you won't have much of a retirement.

That's right! Saving money in the bank is stupid. You just sit there watching it devalue. Only if you invest your money, and turn it into more money, will you finally be financially comfortable.

Then have you started investing now?

A few years ago, I saw that investment funds were doing quite well, and I invested a little bit. After that, I hardly made anything though.

Did you sell them?

No, not yet. I bought a 3 year fixed investment, and I put in a few hundred a month. Also, it's the stable kind – if I lose anything, I won't lose much. When it's finished, if the market isn't good, I'll just sell them and invest in some other products.

Oh. Hey, actually housing prices rose the most they ever have these last few years. They more than doubled. I have a friend who bought an apartment a few years ago, then went and took out a mortgage loan and bought another one. He just followed this pattern and now he has more than a dozen apartments.

Wow. Well, he'll certainly have a good life.

I'm so envious! Why couldn't I have foresight like that?

Once we know, we either can't afford it, or it's dropped so much, we don't dare to buy it. Two years ago, a friend of mine got me to invest in the stock market. In the end, the minute I invested in anything, it just wouldn't stop dropping.

I heard buying gold isn't a bad idea right now. The price of gold is skyrocketing every day.

Forget that. Everyone knows about it. There's nothing new there. You'll see, in a little bit, it will drop too.

Then just invest in insurance. That definitely won't drop.

You shouldn't let those so-called experts influence you so much. Insurance companies aren't standard at all. Also, another aspect of not dropping, is not earning any money. If they don't earn any money, why should I invest in them?

Well, what's your idea then?

When it comes to finances you absolutely cannot just follow the trends. Right now, I'm going to specifically seek out those kinds of business opportunities that normal people haven't realized, then I'll set my sights and give it my all.

What will you do if you invest all this money and get no return?

Knock on wood! Don't jinx me!

Honey, if...if the time comes, and I've been in some accident, I want you to know that although I really don't like this activity, I still really love you.

That's enough. It won't get so tragic. I'll protect you. Even if the sky falls down, this big tall guy will still be here to hold it up.

*Sob*, *sob*...then it'll be even more terrible for me. When you die, I'll have to carry your corpse back.

What are you talking about? Hey, there's some movement up ahead.

Be careful...isn't that the young couple we met before we set off?

Hey, are you guys lost?

Yeah. Oh wow, we're really lucky to have met you guys.

Oh, you're those people that set off early. No wonder you're lost. The organizers changed the map. The one you guys took is from 5 years ago.

Oh, so that's what happened. We wanted to arrive early. How embarrassing. Hey, how did you injure your head? It's wrapped up in a lot of gauze.

Oh, yesterday at nightfall, I'm not sure how, but a hedgehog fell down from above. It hit me right in the head.

Ah? That's really unfortunate.

Chen Lei, check it out.

Heh-heh. Hah-hah.

In the back too, page 47.

What are you two looking at?

We have Physiology and Hygiene class in a bit. We're preparing for class.

You boys only like to look at this kind of boring stuff.

This is science.

Science? Then I ask you Lin Feng, do you know how you came into this world?

My mom says she picked me up out of the trash can.

Ignorant, so ignorant. The proliferation of the human race depends upon the joining of the sperm and the egg, which develops into a zygote cell, after which the cell splits and the organs of the human body slowly begin to take shape.

Wow, that's really impressive. How do you know all this?

It's all in the book. But, my mom also taught me a bit of related knowledge as well.

Your mom is really open.

This isn't a question of whether or not someone is open, it's proper sex education.

Last time I saw the lady from next door, her belly was really big. Then there's a baby inside her stomach.

That's right. Technically speaking, the baby is in her womb. The baby gets its nutrition through the umbilical cord and placenta, gradually growing bigger, and eventually being born.

Well, Xu Xiaoting, the sperm and the egg you were just talking about; how do they come together?

This, my mom didn't say. Maybe the teacher will talk about it in a bit.

OK, students. In class today we'll be talking about the reproductive system of the human body. Everyone open your books to page 45, and take a look for yourselves. If you have any questions, you may ask.

Teacher, Chen Lei has a question. Say it! Hurry, say it!

Teacher, how do the sperm and the egg come together?

Chen Lei's question is a very good one. You're all just entering puberty, so you'll gradually start to notice things about the opposite sex. This is human instinct. In a little while, we'll watch an adolescent sex education film. The boys will go with me to room 101, and the girls will go with the class monitor to room 102.

Advanced -

Mr. Shuya, lately I’ve been really anxious every day. I often can’t sleep at night as well.

Ah. Well, what reasons do you think are bringing about this anxiety and insomnia?

I’m about to get married next month, but every time I think about getting married, I feel scared. I always think poorly of my boyfriend, and I'm always wanting to nitpick and get into arguments with him.

Could you tell me a bit about your relationship?

We fell in love at first sight. We’ve been together for 3 years now. Our relationship has always been really good. Both of our parents approve of us getting married as well. The thing is, these days I'm afraid of the future more and more. Do you I’ve gotten cold feet?

If it's the case that marriage is the tomb in which love is buried, then love without marriage is like dying without a place to be buried. Your relationship is so good, marriage is the best possible resting place for your love. Just be mentally prepared to handle the changes. If you encounter any problems, be smart about dealing with them, and you'll be just fine!

I’m worried that if I do housework all day I’ll turn into an ugly old shrew. My boyfriend is an only son. He won't do housework. I’ve been pampered my whole life too. I keep wondering if we’ll argue over trivial things around the house after we get married.

Life after marriage will certainly be more trifling and complicated than it was when you were dating, but, housework can be arranged beforehand. Also, you can share the responsibilities. If there’s an issue; communicate. Make your partner understand what you're thinking. It’s best not to use arguments as a way to solve your problems.

OK. Mr. Shuya, what if after we get married, life becomes more and more bland, and he doesn't treat me like he used to?

Usually, after a man gets married he feels more stable and will put more energy into work and earning money. Don’t always use your perspective as a woman when trying to figure out a man. Also, don't always think he's ignoring you and such. Try to understand him and be more trusting, and thereby deepen your relationship. At the same time, you also have to work hard at being a confident, mature and charming woman.

You’ve got a point. Also, I'm worried about things not going well with my mother-in-law.

Have you had much contact with the mother-to-be?

Not very much. I get the feeling she's quite an understanding woman, but I just don't know what it will be like living with her.

You needn't be too worried. Those evil mother-in-laws from the TV shows are actually not very common. People are people. As long as you're likable, sensible, and are sincere with her, you'll be fine. Most mothers-in-law don't cause any trouble for their daughters-in-law.

OK. Mr. Shuya, after talking with you, my mind feels much more at ease.

You act as though your love affair is a real relationship, yet you still assume you're in the right?! What makes you qualified to negotiate with me? Your loving relationship, this and that, you should talk to him if you want to deal with this!

But I'm pregnant too. Otherwise, I wouldn't be causing trouble for Jiawei.

Ohhh! Ohhh!

在医院

At the hospital

Yangyang, why are you here?

Your wife is going into labor. It was me who brought her to the hospital.

How did you run into her? What did you say to her?

Who is the family of the patient?

Me, I am.

The patient is already out of danger, but the child was born prematurely and will need special care.

Yangyang, it was definitely you, you...you venomous woman!

Shen, I'm sorry, but I'm pregnant too! It's your child!

Get out of here! Get the hell out of here!

This is a hospital. Please don't raise your voices and cause a commotion! The patient is awake.

Lulu, Lulu.

Divorce!
