]]> <![CDATA[By: pretzellogic]]> Not sure what others felt, but I thought that the sandstorm earlier this year in Beijing was relatively mild.  A lot of wind, but there is usually a lot of wind in Beijing, sandstorm or not. Nothing got buried in sand; it was more like a slight dusting.  My wife says that Beijing sandstorms were worse 10-15 years ago.  Lanzhou got worse sandstorms.

So, we felt that although 'ski jackets' are also called 滑雪夹克, it was the most natural way to describe 冲锋衣. (I used to snowboard in my North Face jacket. :) )
