Today we're talking about the lessons coming up this week at ChinesePod - with some special emphasis on Thanksgiving! Jenny and John introduce Catherine, who works behind the scenes to manage content production here at CPod. We've got a great Early Bird Festive Promotion coming up, too, so don't forget to check out this link for details! Finally, we're looking for some help from you, our beloved users! Contact us if you'd like to participate in an upcoming project that explores how users interact with ChinesePod and how we can improve the service in the future.

aha,so you're the go to person now Catherine.Welcome and good luck in your new role.

I see the upcoming project differs from John's recent post which was more specifically looking at improving the Community section.Sounds interesting.

Happy Thanksgiving to all our North American friends.

Actually, Catherine aluded to the fact that Canada may have a different Thanksgiving date from the U.S.A.

Canada celebrated this on October 12th.

I'm not sure why there is a different date...probably because we already have a November holiday...

Liliana (SpanishPod) & Catherine (ItalianPod) now at ChinesePod.

Now I wait for Amaury (FrenchPod) to come over....

Are SP, IP and FP "dead"?

What is the reason behind the latest "staff shift" to ChinesePod?

If Catherine is the person to "fix" audio/lesson (i.e. quality) problems, what about to improve the quality checking in advance (before publishing)?

Just my 2 cents...

But Happy Thanksgiving to those for who it IS the right time of year.

And Catherine, welcome. I'm a Catherine too.....

American thanksgiving is an opportunity to shop at fantastic discount off regular prices. The one day sale would make or break retailers profit targets for the year... sales volume even bigger than any Christmas shopping day in December. Family members away also return home for thanksgiving family get-together same as Canadians do.
