I love some of the new vocab in this lesson,particularly the way some of the single characters I know are put to gether to form new words.Biru,you chien ren,have money people,ai guo for patriotic

Where does bieguo for other countries come from? To me it means "don't country".lol.Of course this is being very literal but it makes me think of a patriotic Chinese person talking of other countries and saying "you don't wanna go there" ? hehe

]]> <![CDATA[By: pretzellogic]]> I'm happy that there was a lesson on Shenzhou 7.   I only understood "Russia" and "America", then of course I read the pdf and realized that I had been taught much more. 

Funny how the dialogue went in the direction of "why are we spending money on the space program when there are so many other needs in the country?"  That portion of the debate went on here in the US for awhile, and I heard more of it after Apollo 17.
