I agree with John, that 'guanxi' is not special for China, you find it in any society, but I've found that Chinese people in general are a little better than Westerners&nbsp;at remembering reciprocity.</p>]]></description>

<p>Great point about reciprocity. It is a corner stone in our value system. We have this concept of 人情/ren2 qing2, which literally means 'human relations'. But essentially it's social debt. We define favors and act of kindness as debt which you should repay.</p>]]></description>
