Posting to Helen's link is a good idea. But perhaps it would also help you guys if you would ask the poster for a tag--interpersonal relations; popular culture; high brow history/arts, etc. I understand that different folks might use different tags but it still might help the lesson developers work their way through a range of ideas. Just a thought...
Who is Helen?
Hi misterjess,
Helen is shenyajin, the Community Advocate.
Oh, You mean 神秘小姐。
So we will be getting a lesson on 金瓶梅?
Audio or video?
hmmm...I checked my iTunes feed setting and I didn't find anything like "Future Pinying program" , anything wrong?
Woohoo/wushu.Thanks for listening to requests. Can't wait for SBTG.And another Lao Wang [pushed to the edge ] and new Program to boot.Sounds like another super week.I wonder how many will make an extra effort to extend themselves up into the media lesson.I can't say a show about Ponies sounds particularly inspiring, though it does have me intrigued. But I have great faith that if Jenny is involved it will be great.Actually if it's a kids show, involving kids stories then that will be great not only for me ,but also to share with my youngest. But of course, you're going to keep us guessing.Lesson suggestion thread is a great idea;thanks.
did fhe audio file cutout on anyone else?? did not cover the Pinyin "pony" ....
Listing from the web page seemed OK. But this podcast didn't download through my iTunes feed.
the last two lessons I listened to wouldn't play from the web page, but did from amazon...
Young Chinese friends told me that boys in China think that foreigners are afraid of them because we believe they all know Gongfu. Maybe in Australia...
They also told me that they believe that all Americans have guns.
