<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 250 is 1/4 of 1000. Now, I forget the meaning of 1000 exactly, but I believe it symbolizes completeness of some sort, possibly of mind or of being, in China. Therefore, being 250 means one is one quarter of being complete, and therefore foolish or half-hearted, absent minded, etc.</p>
