What are speaking classes?

To help learners who don't have much chance to practice Chinese in their daily lives, we've designed Speaking Classes, which pair learners with a trained native-speaker teacher to get all the Chinese speaking practice they'll need, as well as expert guidance on curriculum planning. Please note that Speaking Classes only give you speaking sessions with your dedicated ChinesePod teacher. For access to lessons, please purchase either a Subscription (Premium or Basic) or a Course. If you're just after some casual verbal practice or would like to provide your own study material, however, you can purchase Speaking Classes alone. We also offer a wide variety of packages and schedules to suit any learner's needs.

We've designed our Speaking Class 40 program for learners who’d like to improve their Chinese skills but don’t have the time for daily sessions with a teacher. The forty minutes per week (divided into two twenty-minute sessions) can be spent examining new lessons as well as going over old ones, making Speaking Class 40 an ideal way to fit regular Chinese study into your week. If you’re ready to get more serious about making progress but can’t commit to a full week of sessions, Speaking Class 40 may be your best option.

Speaking Class 40 is also available in three-month, twelve-month and twenty-four-month durations.
