Grammar Guide

ChinesePod's lessons are designed to get you speaking Chinese in practical, real-world situations. But learning a language isn’t just about speaking well – it’s also important to study the grammatical elements and structures that underlie that language. We hope to help you achieve this with our Grammar Guide, which was created with the needs of learners of different levels in mind. We have designed this resource to relate back to our lesson content, and you will find links to individual lessons at the end of individual grammar guide entries. You will also notice that many lessons feature grammar “tags” on the left-hand side of the page. Clicking on these tags will take you to the corresponding grammar guide entry.This Grammar Guide is a resource we will be releasing in stages. We have begun by launching our Adverbs and Verbs sections. Over time we will continue to release other sections, such as Nouns, Prepositions, and sections on Sentence Structures, among others.

This Grammar Guide will continue to evolve over time to better complement ChinesePod lessons and to meet the learning needs of the ChinesePod community. As of April 2010, the Grammar Guide supports traditional character and audio in its sample sentences.
