Me, trying to be a Chinese poet

I just came across these "poems" I wrote years ago.  I thought I'd share.  They might be awful, but let's call it poetic license. Thought I'd share, feel free to ignore, though...

(1)  回憶
我想把所有回憶
擲給風,
使回憶在一場消失不見。
無論飄到南極去,
或被鳳凰吃光,
主要是眼前
連微小的痕跡也沒。 
(2)  命運
甚麼人敢懷疑命運?
命運本來不是確鑿無疑的嗎?
人類可能懶得堅持,
不知所措地依靠幸運。
或是怕現實過雜和錯誤的決心,
而放棄自己的努力,
給命運讓步。

You are hard on yourself! Chinese poems are very difficult to write! You should try and look at poems by some of the famous Chinese poets. They had to start somewhere!

Thanks! I should write some more. I was inspired to dig these up from the poetry chinesepod lesson!

Puolism: Wonderful job! I think it takes a lot of guts just to try poetry in another language, but to publish it for the world to read it takes even more courage! This was my favorite passage: 使回憶在一場消失不見 It's like Robin Williams character John Keating said in Dead Poets Society, "We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion...poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for."
