How is everyone ?

I currently study Chinese at a University in Shanghai and find it very boring and not a good method for me. I really hope that the CP method will help me to improve my listening, speaking, reading and eventually writing. I also have ADHD so I find it very hard to focus at times this is why I enjoy the podcasts.

I am looking for some way to see my progress day to day to keep me engaged.

I am also looking for a way to realize my weaknesses and strengths within the language.

Does anyone have some tips for the new CP learner and/or ADHD learner ?

First of all, welcome! For a new CPod learner, I'd suggest looking for a few lessons at your level and of your interest to start. You could try searching lessons using keywords or visist the lesson sets page.

You might also want to try our lesson series, which are almost like a TV drama to keep you hooked.

Overall, I think it's really important to keep your learning sessions short but regular and set a manageable goal with a small stretch, e.g. learn 3 new words and phrases per day. It makes it easier to follow through and measure your progress. Hopefully, by the end of one week, you will have learned a fair bit and enjoyed the journey.

Best of luck and enjoy your studies!
