Is the CPod-dict down?

I just tried to enrich todays grammar point entries for my never ending table...

Hope it is not discontinued or "restructured" with the unpleasent effect that my 3000 links are all going down the drain...

Seems to be working fine for me, sir. Maybe it's your location?

Frank, do the example sentences and lesson links still work for you?

It looks as if our colocating facility in Shanghai had network problems last night. We're planning to move it to the US for faster access and a general upgrade in January.

Henning, On the link front, as long as you keep your links in the format below, the dictionary will continue to support them through future iterations. http://labs.chinesepod.com/dictionary/word/______ --dave

Hm. My links all look like this: labs.chinesepod.com/?q=node[something]&search=[word]

trevelyan / dave, thanks for the link, glad to learn it will continue to be supported - as it happens, I just added dictionary links to my annotated news . It's all scripted but when it ends up on 88groups it becomes static. I will have to reformat all previous stories, it's bad enough with 30, I'd hate to do this with 100 or more!

Wah...I just finished what I thought was todays lesson (Sarkozy visits Vatican). Goulniky, you move to fast for us lazy students... too much goodness to digest...

Did someone try an electronic pocket dictionary to learn Chinese? Do you think is worth to get one? See http://www.powerdictionary.com/cgi-bin/dictionary/CD-628.html

Hi henning, I turn out at 2-3 stories a day, but obviously some topics are of more interest and since we're all different... gives you some choice, not to mention the fact that I still have a few problems scheduling, main issue being that design of 88groups made some assumptions I'm challenging (long lessons, dozens of lessons, lacking fast scheduling overview etc.) They know about it, we're all learning and I'm sure it'll get a lot better soon. Meanwhile, jiayou jiayou!
