It looks like you use "或是" as or meaning from A or B only A or only B.

"或者" could mean A or B or both.

Am I correct? Are there any other differences?

或是 = 或者是

A or B.

Does that mean "either" or "neither", or "both" all depend on the context.

男孩或是女孩都欢迎.

Both boys and girls are welcomed.

你只能选一个, 男孩或是女孩?

You can only pick one, boy or girl?

男孩或是女孩我们都不需要.

We don't need any boys or girls.

Hope this helps,

I think 或是 should be considered the same in meaning as 或者是 - I don't think 或是 should be analyzed as a word or seperate gramatical term.
