i would like to point out that in the last couple of weeks when i tried to look at the lesson transcripts as pdf files there are letters missing.

is this a general problem or just on my end?

thanks!

This happens to me too when I open the PDF directly from the CPod site - all the accented vowels are missing. But when I save the PDF to my own computer then open the saved version, there is no problem.

I'm guessing most people save the PDF first, which is why there has been no other mention of a problem. But it still needs a fix.

May I ask what browser you are using and its version?  We have tested this from our end, but the PDFs still seem to be opening correctly for us (as well as the "text version").

Also, do you notice this with all lessons, or does this only happen to specific lessons?

it IS the BROWSER!  when I am using firefox and click the pdf link the pdf has some letters missing.

just now i did the same in chrome and i could just read it without a problem.

so its a firefox problem. thanks!

Just wondering - I've only just upgraded to Firefox 19.0, and I'm having this problem.

Which version are you using? And are any others who are using older versions of Firefox having the problem also?

Ok, I just updated as well and am getting the same thing. Older versions (at least 18.) works, but it appears the new in-browser reader got updated in Firefox 19.0 which is causing the display problem. I will see what our tech team can do about it, although it might be out of their control.

The good news is the "text version" still displays within the browser ok, and if you download the PDF to your desktop and open via Reader or Preview it also displays without any problems.
