Nexus 7 / Android Vocabulary

I joined Chinesepod mainly for the app so I can study while I'm on the road. However, the vocabulary function is not working. Every time I click on Vocabulary I receive the message "Unfortunately Chinesepod has stopped." I sent a request about 8 days ago and received a confirmation, however I haven't received any updates as to what is being done. Does anyone esle have this problem and is there a solution? I would love to study my vocab.
