Anybody familiar with traffic in Beijing??

I need help. I will soon fly out from Beijing and am planning to train to Beijing from Chengdu.

Does anybody know how much time it takes from the Beijing West Railway station to the airport? Can it be done in one hour? How much would it cost?

Any advice is much appreciated.
