My latest blog post concerns collaboration and the notion of communities of practice. Feel free to school me on the subject.

Thank you Ken, "Jenny, John, and I see ourselves more as resources and less as as the instigators or controllers of the learning. Learning there is not the result of teaching, but rather as the result of the individual’s engagement with the resources. " It is very great! Thank you very much and i learned a lot from you guys in the past six months. I never know that online learning can be so interesting and so effective untill i got to know Chinesepod. I found that our cpoddies are very good and always like to share and help others. That is collaboration. And i second Ken's point, there will be collaboration. Thanks again. Cassie^_^

Casie, I appreciate the comments. This is just the beginning of what I have to say on the subject. I'll write more when I have time.

The place where I take my cooking classes is a Community of Collaboration, too. :) It's called Culinary Communion: Culinary Communion teaches cooking and wine classes in the Seattle area in an effort to create a community of food enthusiasts, or “foodies.” Love to learn? Join us for hands-on classes in our home or yours. Love to laugh? In each class, we drink wine, laugh, and talk. And, of course, sit down to enjoy the meal we've created together. I've learned so much while being together with the students and teachers there! http://www.culinarycommunion.com
