才知道了,谢谢。 其实你以上最重要的结构不是‘难忘的’,反而是‘…最…的一[量词]什么什么’, *the* most…,似乎于跟那个留言的例句差不多。

goulniky, 谢谢,i learned a French word. 很可惜我的二外选的是日语没有选择法语。我有两个舍友是选择法语,不过她们法语也都没有学好,就像我的日语一样,也没有学好,只学会了基本的发音什么的! Here"二外"means second foreign language. I chose japanese as my second foreign language but i just know how to pronounce the words, anyway, it is in the very begining.

wo zui nan wang de yi jian shi (he di fang) shi wo zai xizang de 'Mt. Kailash' chao2 sheng4 (pilgrimage) qu4 de. Is the particle to end such a sentence with 'le' or 'de'? And: I just got a new computer and I need to download a Chinese font. Any recommendations?

auntie68 Good, you say it correctly in Chinese. Btw, it also can make sense that if you say我最难忘的一天就是我的侄儿一年前第一次叫我“姑妈”的那一天。There is no big difference. Dear auntie68, i am so happy that you really try your best to use Chinese! Look, you can use the new word or new sentence structure to make sentence.(造句) Cassie^_^

casie, thanks for the encouragement (to try writing in Chinese). Sincerely. I have such a phobia; during my school days (pre-CPOD) in Singapore, my usual mark for 造句 or 作文 was like 8/20 (--> fail!). Thank you.

欢迎,Cassie. 你的学习怎么样? 我试一试你的句字结构。 我最难忘的一个地方是缅甸。 缅甸人又轻松又精神. 他的生活不容易。(Is 精神 the correct word for spiritual... I'm not sure?) I welcome your corrections. Thanks.

auntie68 You know, you are always welcome. I really want to see my friends make progress and conquer the difficulties that they are in confront with. Wei1xiao4 Long time no see, how have you been?好久不见,你过的还好吗? My school is doing fine so far, thank you for your concerning.到目前为止,我的学习进展的还挺顺利,谢谢你的关心。 Look, spirit=精神 It's a noun. spiritual=精神的 It's a adjective. So you are right, 缅甸人又轻松又精神。 And 他们的生活不容易。I guess you meant to use "their"他们的here.

Paulc I like “月亮代表我的心”too. I wonder which version you like? I meant there are three singers had sang this song, i like 陶喆and杨坤's versions. 阿尔茨海默氏症is kind of disease that related to agedness, right? The saying of 老年痴呆症is more natural for me. Wei1xiao4 I guess you want to say "I am glad that you went back/were back." 我很高兴你回来了。^_^ P.s. Wei1xiao4, i am glad that you finally got your profile public and i can add you to my watchlist. And i can write comments on your post too. You know, i found that your public profile was not allow to read and i left a comment for you in one of my posts before, i guess you missed.

Hi Casie, My favorite version is sung by: 邓丽君 I have memorized the lyrics and listen to it often. I'll have to listen to the versions you like. Thanks for the alternate expression: 老年痴呆症 lao3 nian2 chi1 dai1 zheng4 (senile dementia / Alzheimer’s disease)... i thought this was appropriate since your theme is "unforgettable" :)

Casie, 不是,是从法语翻译来的,在法语‘soup’指的是很蜜甜感情的歌曲,easy listening这样的,大概是比喻!
