Start a blog

As there have been many requests for hints on how to memorize Chinese characters, I have decided to start a blog enabling students to learn Hanzi efficiently using mnemonics so you won't have to buy expensive testbooks or write them over and over again until your hands become sore. I will also provide some additional material.

I am not particularly blogosphere-savvy, so I'd like to ask you whether you can recommend a free and relatively simple blog host that currently ensures stable access from China.

Thank you so much.

(By the way, I am surprised that no one has joined my group about cuisine so far. Are you all 吃饱了 already? ;-) )

I didn't know there was a group on cuisine. I love food...so I'm going to look for it right now!

Kimiik: I apologize. Apparently I'm not quite as attentive as I should be which is due to an illness I have come down with. Going online seems to be the only remotely useful thing I'm capable of at present. ;-)

As for the blog, I consulted a student of mine and he has explained to me how to work around any problems that might occur. I am still looking for Chinese blog hosts, though.

I've subscribed in Googe Reader already. Looking forward to reading your first post. I love hearing how people remember the characters.

Take 心 for example, I can't see a heart in there at all. But I can see a smiley face, so for me, 心 is someone with a happy heart.

Great idea :)
