Does anyone know of a good newbie lesson that touchs on horoscopes (Chinese ones) or even the relevant animals?

I can't find anything, surprisingly - it's such a common small talk topic I'd have thought they'd have touched on it by now.

See MDBG Dictionary here for one list of the different signs.

A list in my flashcards that I got from a different dictionary (which doesn't match the MDBG list, and all characters are traditional):

Aries: 白羊座 / Báiyángzuò

Taurus: 金牛座 / Jīnniúzuò

Gemini: 雙子座 / Shuāngzǐzuò

Cancer: 巨蟹座 / Jùxièzuò

Leo: 獅子座 / Shīzizuò

Virgo: 處女座 / Chŭnnǚzuò

Libra: 天秤座 / Tiānchèngzuò

Scorpio: 天蠍座 / Tiānxiēzuò

Sagitarrius: 射手座 / Shèshǒuzuò

Capricorn: 摩羯座 / Mójiézuò

Aquarius: 水瓶座 / Shuǐpíngzuò

Pisces: 雙魚座 / Shuāngyúzuò

Don't take that on faith. I often type pinyin incorrectly.

Thanks guys that's very useful. I'm new to this so I wasn't aware of the online MDBG dictionary--it will be very useful.

cheers

There's also a bunch of western and Chinese astrology vocabulary here. It worries me that their vocabulary differs so much from the stuff I got out of my own dictionary...
