Impressive Shanghai photos in the New York Times

The New York Times this weekend - I guess it's Sat. June 9th - has some pretty impressive photos of Shanghai in the Travel section. They're somewhat jarring--taken in black and white, on back alleys, so they look 70 years old in ways,but then the Pearl Tower or whatever rises in the background. I don't know how much it's related to Chinese, but at least it's about the home of ChinesePod!
