How about a Mandarin lesson on tennis?  Anyone watch the Serena Williams vs. Daniela Hunachova match at the Wimbleton today? It was an unbelievable match of physical prowess and mental toughness!

Tennis is one of Jenny's favorites sports, isn't it? Would be suprised if there wasn't one already, but then again, if there where, would would continuously here about the tennis players Jenny has met in person. Ha ha.

I'd love one about cricket, but seriously, I'd have to talk to myself about it. I've yet to meet a Chinese person who enjoyed cricket. Prove me wrong?

Serena 非常重哦。 Serena fei zhang zhong o 好友力量 hao you li liang (strength) I would tweak your sentences a bit though, Serena 的球很重。 Serena de qiu hen zhong. Serena's hitting is very strong. 力量也很厉害 li liang ye hen li hai Her strength is very strong. Here's some other vocab I've heard on the tennis court for 'strong'. 好猛啊 hao meng3 a (You're hitting) fiercely. You're killing the ball. 你的球很重 ni de qiu hen zhong Your shots are really strong (heavy) 没有zhi (er) Anyone know the hanzi for this? It means "I have no energy"

Hi Lantian! 你好 "Serena 的球很重" ...重...is this the correct hanzi for heavy? it is "chong2, to double, repeat" according to Chinesepera-kun that translates as i mouse over the hanzi. Also, zuong4 is my guess at the pinyin for another term meaning strong, not li4hai4 (formidable) or zhong4 (heavy)
