I really found http://www.yellowbridge.com a very interesting tool to understand the philosophy and relationship between characters.

How about the best sequence to study Chinese characters?

Start with the easiest to draw, start by the most common or start with the “radicals” (the simple ones that combined will form many others)?

Any suggestion for a newbie (who prefers to learn by understanding rather than by memorizing)?
