快网络速度 - Blistering fast home internet

有一位奶奶现在有世界最快的在家里的网络。她可以只用两秒下线一部电影! 是她的儿子们帮帮她搞好她的网络电脑,真好儿子们! 其实有点好笑,那个奶奶是刚开始学上网,她只用电脑看报纸!奶奶,我可以过来跟你一边喝茶吃饼干一边玩上网吗?! :)

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - She is a latecomer to the information superhighway, but 75-year-old Sigbritt Lothberg is now cruising the Internet with a dizzying speed. Lothberg's 40 gigabits-per-second fiber-optic connection in Karlstad is believed to be the fastest residential uplink in the world, Karlstad city officials said.

In less than 2 seconds, Lothberg can download a full-length movie on her home computer — many thousand times faster than most residential connections, said Hafsteinn Jonsson, head of the Karlstad city network unit

I find that when using Adsotrans, it's much more accurate to use the "vocabulary list" option than the "translate" one. When it translates, there is too many meaningless, disconnected extra words thrown in. Though the vocab function takes longer to read, it is much clearer in translating the meaning of the Hanzi. Have you found that to be the case, Lantian?

ADSO - actually I don't use it much to translate per se. I will just toss in some text to generate the pinyin/English popup function. Then when I read the text, the occassional words I don't know, I do the mouseover to bring up the pinyin/English. I keep my focus on the hanzi, rather than going to a complete pinyin or translated text. None of the machine translators (Google, Babelfish, etc.) can actually really translate well, so that's why you're finding the vocab works better.
