Just wondering, does a ChinesePod account also give you access to SpanishSense?

Nevermind, this answers my question:

As a subscriber to another Praxis Languages service, you can also use your login credentials (email, password) here. We have given you a complementary 15-Day Premium pass so that you can preview this service. Once this expires, we recommend you purchase a Praxis Pass, which will give you discounted access to both this site and the other Praxis Language services. To get started, we suggest going to your personal Study page or update Your Profile. - The SpanishSense Team

There seems to be nothing going on at SpanishSense - no users making comments, no way to report bugs ....it seems to be ghost site. Incidentally when I used IE on this site it failed to add my comment - that is a problem I have encountered at Spanishsense. I am now adding this with Firefox

I've had problems sometimes posting with firefox, so maybe the shortage of new postings is not for want of trying? They do provide an email address for reporting bugs. I've done so a couple of times and (coincidentally?) had a response in minutes. Most bug reports wouldn't need a response, but they have an expert collecting them and making sure the right people deal with them.

I'm diving into Spanish with muy gusto. It should be an odd experience, in that I don't WANT to learn it as much as I kind of NEED to learn it. Thus, my motivation is not the same as purely elective languages, but just as strong in its own way. There are bunches of minor mistakes; misspelled words, mislabeled words (I saw some noun called a "conjunction", etc.) I suspect those problems will have to take a back seat for a few days, which is fine. Plus, they have a habit of drawing out words so much that they distort the pronunciation (grr-rrraaaa-hhh-seeee-yaaahhsss). But I can't be too harsh on them; they just started. They'll strike the right balance with a bit of experience. Even Jenny (bless her) fell into that trap in the early CPOD lessons (niii-iiii-iii-iii h-oooo-oooo-ooooaaa), but she got over that almost immediately. I'm looking forward to it. After dealing with Mandarin tones, Spanish gender doesn't seem quite as intimidated as it once did. ;)

I'm not really interested in learning Spanish at this point. If it was Korean, Japanese or Cantonese I probably would.

I wish they'd do Hebrew (fat chance, eh?). I've only seen one significant source of online Hebrew and that was an Israeli site that uses Skype, webcams and charges about $1000 USD for each unit.
