Hi everyone,

In the spirit of keeping everyone up-to-date, we've identified the source of the problem some users are reporting with having mp3 files download as html files. The issue is related to our switch to using the Amazon hosting server for better scalability and uptime. It should only affect users of older versions of the Internet Explorer browser.

Today and tomorrow's lessons are already reformatted. We will be going through our lesson archive on a rolling basis to make our older materials more accessible to IE users as well. In the meantime, IE users can still download the files using a quick Windows trick: when saving the file surround the name of the file being downloaded in double-quotation marks ("chinesepod_A0440pb.mp3"). This will force Internet Explorer to treat the file as an MP3 file rather than incorrectly guessing that it is an HTML document.
